DescriptionTwo companies are competing to build the intercontinental railway. When one sends saboteurs to intercept the powder needed to pierce tunnels through the mountains, the other calls upon Lucky Luke to protect a last chance convoy. The problem is, it's not powder that gets loaded onto the train this time - it's nitroglycerin! And as if that wasn't enough, the saboteurs are still around ...and the Daltons are convinced the train is full of gold! Author descriptionBorn and raised in Belgium, Morris moved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met Rene Goscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny's death in 1977. Lodewijk "Lo" Hartog van Banda was a Dutch comic writer. He won the Dutch Stripschapprijs, a prize awarded to comic writers and cartoonists for career achievements, in 1975. Outside the Netherlands, he is probably best known for writing several Lucky Luke stories. |
